Make an ISO 'sticky'

Would it be possible to have one ISO made 'sticky', like you can select a normal drive between pIso reboots? It would take the bite out of the race condition when computer and pIso are both booting up, because you don't lose 3-5 seconds for choosing the correct ISO to boot from.
(sorry if this was already discussed, a brief search here didn't find anything)
