We need an API or ??? to give the portal the info for what bundle versions are the latest and which are deprecated.

We want to make customers aware when their Function App is NOT using the latest bundle version. We want to display a message regarding this, I assume that would be in the Notifications panel?

Fabio confirmed that the admin/host/statusAPI returns the bundle ID and version - ${resourceId}/host/default/properties/status?api-version=${this._getApiVersion()}

The portal could then surface either a "deprecated bundle" message or a "not on current bundle" message.
