We're gathering feedback from our initial Dojo sessions on Twitch in this issue and will incorporate into our guidelines - https://github.com/DrupalOpenLearning/drupaldojo/wiki/Setting-up-your-Twitch-and-OBS-for-stream-recording

Please help us out by watching the vids and providing feedback in the comments -

Here is some to start -

invite to stream to channel via twitch use official channel easier to promote people know where to go.
change format to MP4.
local record optional recommends screen share and record via a better connect for those who have a system that might not be able to handle it.
mouse option did not seem to be enabled OBS config
The video was still recorded at 1080 reviewing the session it didn't downscale.
So check those config settings.
System stress may be a little high for people with older rigs solution
screen share to a partner who can record. My rig (ikit-claw)would be fine
doing this.
Audio failure for multiple parties. You need to initialise everything you want
to use so that OBS automatically picks up else you would have to manually
config anything like the audio afterwards.
File format should be changed also
Centralised content aka like with youtube gives us more look at what we have
focus.

One thought discussed in #drupal-dojo was having someone (who is inaudible) ask questions of the presenter cases moments of dead air... we should figure out a better way to go about that.

@daggerhart found this vid where they use "Game capture” to capture skype audio and suggested this might work w/ slack calls as well https://youtu.be/Hc4_qGNYVsg

We also need to provide guidelines on how to credit presenters, producers, and sponsors in the videos #45

@gusaus -- I know that Twitch has buttons that can be added to streams for sponsors, adds, links, etc. Maybe we do some research on how to implement that with OBS?

@gusaus I've been troubleshooting the issue with dagg and he has found it is a mac issue you need an additional program to record the incoming audio.
