kafka connector not loading properly

when following steps to add kafka connector, importing the geoevent configuration seems to not work properly. the import suggests it succeeded, but trying to configure an input of this type shows this error:

Invalid stream configuration: adapter uri is missing.

in the input connector (kafka-text-in) the transport is set to 'FeatureService`. I think I should see 'kafka' something here?

Same exact issue here Running 10.4.1 and RHEL.

Marten, did you have a chance to test release 3 of the Kafka Connector we posted here (http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=7f94ec2a3eb944c79e98fe854d60d671) ? I believe this issue was already addressed. Please let us know if recent build works for you or not. Thanks!
