It would be nice to be able to filter the subscriptions so you don't always have to get the list of all subscriptions.

Yes indeed.
We have that for Registrations but still not for Subscriptions.
It is on our backlog though, in ETSI ISG CIM, where we define the API.
Can't tell you when it's coming., but I can assure you it is coming,
