Information

This is a collection of different beginner friendly questions for praticing DSA. If you are interested in contributing then please follow code-Style and Contribution steps.

Steps to Contribute

1. Star this repository.

2. Fork this repository.

3. Clone your forked copy of the project.

   git clone https://github.com/<your_name>/Beginner-Coding-Track.git 
   

4. Navigate to the project directory 📁 .

   cd Beginner-Coding-Track
   

5. Add a reference(remote) to the original repository.

   git remote add upstream https://github.com/Google-Developer-Student-Club-RAIT/Beginner-Coding-Track
   

6. Check the remotes for this repository.

   git remote -v
   

7. Always take a pull from the upstream repository to your master branch to keep it at par with the updated repository.

   git pull upstream main
   

8. Create a new branch.

   git checkout -b <your_branch_name>
   

9. Add your solution to the code base in the same manner as mentioned below.

   • Just append your code to the relevant question's txt file in the following format

     Contribution by <Your Name>:-
     Time Complexity: 
     Space Complexity: 
     Code:
     // Add the well commented code here
     

   • Keep the following points in mind

     • Do not add unnecessary lines like "Enter the Number:" or "The pattern is as follows:" etc. Directly take the input or display the pattern.
     • The code you add should be well commented so that anyone can understand it.
     • Strictly follow the format to add your solution.
     • Do not remove or alter the contents already present in the file, Just append your solution in the format provided.

10. Track your changes:heavy_check_mark: .

    git add . 
    

11. Commit your changes .

    git commit -m "Relevant message"
    

12. Push the committed changes in your feature branch to your remote repo.

    git push -u origin <your_branch_name>
    

13. To create a pull request, click on compare and pull requests. Please ensure you compare your feature branch to the desired branch of the repository you are supposed to make a PR to.

14. Add appropriate title and description to your pull request explaining your changes and efforts done.

15. Click on Create Pull Request.

16. Congratulations! You have made a PR. Sit back patiently and relax while your PR is reviewed.
