Optical Mark Recognition made easy for teachers. With easyOMR, it is easy to create answer forms for OMR recognition, import and correct the scanned results from the students, and export everything to Excel for grading. easyOMR can work hand in hand with Moodle Offline Quizz module, or just stand-alone with no Moodle required at all.

Several workflows are possible:

• Use easyOMR in conjunction with Moodle Offline Quizz Module. In this workflow, you use Moodle to configure an offline quizz and create the corresponding response grid. You use easyOMR to process the scans of the responses, and export clean scans that you then import into Moodle for grading. The benefit of this workflow is a better recognition of the marks, much faster manual correction of the scans, and avoid some Moodle bugs associated to this process.
• Use easyOMR alone to create grid forms. In this workflow, you create a questionnaire using any tool you like, and students use the response grid created by easyOMR to respond. You use easyOMR to process the scans of the responses, and export the results to Excel for grading.
• Use easyOMR in conjunction with Word for custom mixed question/answer forms. In this workflow, you use Word to edit a template provided by easyOMR. The Word document mixes the questions and the boxes used by OMR. You use easyOMR to group the boxes that are part of the same question, process the scans of the responses, and export the result to Excel for grading.
