Tracking upstream issue that causes bloat in just about all the micropython stubs
python/mypy#16658

Options

roll back to earlier MyPy version ( 1.6.0?)
run regex to clean up after stubgen ( pre-processing was already needed )
use pyright options stubgeneration ( but that also has some downsides)
