Hi Jan,
Here's also Jan from the Netherlands....

I've got a question about a HAT for RPI called DABBoard, it's developed by ugreen.eu .
Have you ever heard of this board and do you have any idea if this would be compatible with qt-dab?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Groetjes, Jan

Hi,
I got this reply from DABBoard:

Hi,

I don't know qt-dab good enough. But qt-dab is a SDR, which means it is doing the heavy lifting of DAB decoding in software.

The DABBoard instead is using the Si468x chip, which is doing the decoding on the hardware.

Despite this, it is probably possible to change qt-dab in order to get its data from the Si468x, so basically you would mostly use only the GUI from qt-dab.

But I don't know if that makes too much sense because qt-dab's main feature seems to be to show the decoding.

KR

Christoph

Just a hin, Jan, I know own such a ugreen DABboard, too. But let me first try to get existing software running. The shipped software is buggy and does not understand service names with special characters (Österreich).
