To reproduce:

  1. clone repo
  2. run yarn install
  3. run yarn start
  4. observe 100% CPU use for several seconds followed by a crash due to running out of memory

This is on ubuntu 20.04 with a fresh install of yarn from https://dl.yarnpkg.com/debian/
