Same chars are filled with emojis on my OnePlus 8 Pro.

Expected behavior
Use the selected style.

Android version
Android 11

Additional context
Broken chars in Signal 🅰🅱🅾🅿Ⓜ
Broken chars in Telegram 🅰🅱🅾🅿
Broken chars in Github App: None

Emojis are also shown on an Pixel 3a which I send these messages to via Signal.

Are those apps at fault?

@henningBunk | This is not a bug!

Messengers automatically display emoji's for the corresponding unicode characters.

This behaviour could ONLY be changed within the messenger application itself!

This issue can be closed as it is not a bug and »solved«.

Could Unicode variation selectors be used to actually fix this?
