selection of a observation changes the coordinates of the select and relocates the crosshairs.

steps to reproduce:

  • bring up an observation layer
  • select any observation
  • note the lat/long coordinates in the dialog do not represent the actual point selected
  • note that the crosshair is moved to the coordinates in the dialog
  • call in the kids to help you find where the crosshairs magically jump to. it's a hoot!

new observations on this one (version v0.2.32):

what i am seeing is that if the observations are in the background (where there are multiple layer cards loaded):

  • Selecting a obs pops up the dialog and it stays in view (seem to recall Sergio saying this was repaired).
  • doesn't exhibit the magical cross hair movement.

if the obs are brought to the foreground the dialog blinks away nearly immediately along with the crosshairs.
