Targets should be created, displayed and saved specific for the selected reference Image #113

  • currently targets are saved in a Targets directory next to the RESOURCES directory

@fedorov I am also working on this right now, but it seems more complicated than I hoped it to be.

We talked about saving the targets reference image specific. I have some questions regarding that.

  1. When user enters the Segmentation step, usually all available labels are loaded. Should we also load all most recent targets for all reference images (if more than one target list is available)
  2. When selecting a reference image and user creates a target, but then switches to another reference image, what should happen with the previously created target?
    • maybe the user would expect it to be displayed across all reference images?
    • should (since the selected reference images changed) a new target list be created which will be saved specifically for that reference image besides all other created target lists for their reference images?
  3. I think that we don't need the target list selector. Giving the user the freedom to select another target list could result in having one reference image (let's say series number 5.) selected and selecting the target list which belongs to series number 7.
