Hi, when I use the hosts file I have connection troubles with Steam and a VPN app from Private Internet Access. Steam gets stuck when it first opens while checking for updates for the app itself. It will eventually open but it can take 5 minutes or more. The Private Internet Access VPN app won't work at all. I cleared the hosts file and tried again and both work immediately as normal. Is there a way I can find out which site or sites on the list are interfering here? |

I had assumed the issue was the hosts file because when I cleared it, everything connected normally right away. However, I attempted to recreate the problem just now and everything still connected normally. I can only assume the timing was a coincidence until it happens again. |
