Site Reports

Nicholas K. Dionysopoulos edited this page Jul 4, 2024 · 1 revision

This page shows you all detected updates discovered and all actions taken across all sites you can manage in Akeeba Panopticon. You can filter this page by site and by a time range.

ℹ️ You also schedule automatic, periodic report generation per site. You can find this feature in the Site Overview page of each site under Automations, Scheduled Action Summary.

Why does this feature exist?

The first obvious reason is that if you're a web agency who's taking maintenance contracts with your clients you might want to show them what kind of maintenance work is being performed on their behalf on their sites.

Furthermore, if you run into a problem (a backup is consistently failing, an update caused a problem, an update is not being installed etc) you might want to see if it's an isolated incident, how long it's been going on, or just when it happened. This page serves as a concise log of activity which will help you with all of these goals.

We understand that not every Panopticon user needs this feature. That's okay. You can just not use this feature. Remember, Akeeba Panopticon is mass-distributed software; it's meant to cater for a multitude of use cases, not just a specific user's use case.
