An email I received from Triangle Transit's Paul Straw:

Hey Chris,

Nice to meet you last Friday at the Green+ Breakfast on Sustainability. I’ve attached a few screen shots to show where the Bike Buddy search is found and how to make sure you find a buddy. The screen shots are taken from the vantage point of being logged in, so make sure you’re logged in as you navigate the site. We’re planning on making several name updates to the tabs on the site. For example, “Find Carpool” will be changed that to “Find Matches” and that should help users navigate the site a little easier.

Durham County currently has a STRNC page: DurhamCounty.sharetheridenc.org and it’s being used by several large employers in that area. Instead of creating your own subsite (which we can still do), that Durham County site might be a better place to start and promote with bike riders in that area. We have a Durham County outreach representative here and she spends a lot of time talking to cyclists in Durham to promote STRNC. I’ve listed her contact information below in case you’re interested in working with her.

I would recommend using/promoting their service instead of developing internally

Shall we close this out then?
