Mouse click is not captured on HTML wallpapers

When clicking on an element on an HTML wallpaper, the mouse click is not captured. Hover and mouse movement works correctly.

Some HTML wallpapers have various menus that can be interacted with the mouse via left click, clicking buttons, dragging sliders etc.. The issue I've experience is that the mouse click is not captured and I'm unable to click any UI elements within the HTML wallpaper. However, the mouse does detect the element as hover tool-tips, and other hover features work. The mouse movement is also captured.

This HTML wallpaper has a menu at the top right to adjust settings, but cannot be clicked when using the Wallpaper Engine KDE plugin.
