feature request - automatically set trophies for league winners

At the moment this is a manual setting and the admin team sometimes forgets to set the league winner when closing a league. Could it perhaps be coded to be done automatically? It would be something like this: on league close, if date > end date and games > minimum games then set league winner = participant in number one position.
