Syncing one playlist is nice.
But it just leaves you with a huge collection of music.
Imagine downloading and saving youtube playlists as lists of songs/URLs and playing those playlists offline.

Basiclly:

  • Manage your playlists on youtube
  • Play them offline from command line (using huge library of songs from all playlists)

Consider using python instead of bash when rewriting this.
