How to add pause while recording an audio

Where are pause buttons? If i'm not wrong this example just stop and save the stream, and you have no possibility to pause and re-start the audio recorder on same registration track with the code as is. If i have understand the question meaning: start reg -> pause -> restart reg on same track.

The pause buttons are both in the notification area (when U pull it down) or when you tap the record button.
But this requires that you disable 'Decode on the fly' in the settings!

perhaps i'm not on same page, because i do not see this setting on code.

Do you have an older version? I have 3.2.12 and I can't remember not having that option in previous versions.
I wonder what the developer has to say to this…

sorry but seem that i'm definitively out of context about what you're speaking of because i just refer to this AudioRecorder code snippet https://github.com/cwilso/AudioRecorder where i do not see any button about pause/restart a recording stream
