Crash while installing Home Assistant

Tried a few times and keep getting an error when installing HA.

My process:

• Flash SD with Raspbian Stretch Lite 4.14
• touch ssh
• boot up and connect to network via LAN
• sudo su
• curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dale3h/hassio-installer/master/hassio_rpi3bp | bash -s

Everything runs ok until after it starts trying to install Home Assistant, and then I get an error like this:

Hass.io is now installing Home Assistant.
This process may take up to 20 minutes. Please visit:
http://hassio.local:8123/ in your browser and wait
for Home Assistant to load.
If the previous URL does not work, please try http://10.0.1.66:8123/
