Steps to reproduce:

Install DuckDuckGo extension for Safari.
Open a web page containing text, e.g. Wikipedia.
Right-click on a word and select "Ask Dax".

What should happen:

A DuckDuckGo search result page should appear with results for the query you selected.

What actually happens:

A DuckDuckGo search result page appears with results for the query "null".

Environment:

v. 1.8.0; Safari 10.1.2; MacOS 10.12.6
