Feature request: Add Option to change the default layout

Right now the default layout is always the first layout enabled in the layout tab. I think it would be really useful to be able to change the default layout and it would not break any worlflow

It could be a Selectlist containing all enabled layouts in the layout section

We could do this , since we cannot save the layout:
Default layout Per Virtual Desktop Number:
Destkip 1 : 3 Column
Desktop 2 : Tile
Desktop 3 : Tile [2] - Rotated Master
Desktop 4 : Monocle
Destkop 5 , etc

Well, this suggestion is not about saving the state layout state, just changing the default.

Having this option per virtual desktop number would be great as well, I'm just not sure how the variable number of virtual desktops could be managed.

If the script can detect existing number of desktops , it would be fine, and i am not quite sure it can.

I'm loving this script - after a couple of months, I'd say the most annoying issue is that krohnkite always defaults to the first selected layout.

Is there no way to allow us to change the order of layouts.

Currently the order is fixed and the FIRST layout ticked is always the one enabled.

Only by disabling all other modes is it possible to have a default Floating or spiral.

This question came up with someone who wrote a script to toggle krohnkite on/off, but this works badly if Floating layout isn't selected (i.e. need to reset kwin to get those titles back).

@ben2talk I recently submitted this feature in #160, not sure how long it will take for the author to review and approve. If it is something that is really bothering you(as it was for me) I guess you can use my fork

@winiciuscota can you submit PR to bismuth , since this project is no longer maintained , and bismuth have full of maintainers .Bismuth-Forge/bismuth#74
