Hi Thomas, Is it safe to migrate to J4.4 and J5 with herzogdupont-joomla-1.7.1 or should I wait, please?

If you have already installed the plugin, you should not notice any issue updating to Joomla 4.4. or Joomla 5.0. (You should always test major updates and keep an up-to-date backup, of course. But this applies to all software, not only this particular plugin.)

The only issue with Joomla 5 I noticed so far is that if the plugin Behaviour - Backward Compatibility is disabled, the function to automatically enable the Herzog Dupont plugin on installation does not work and will throw an error. The installation is working fine, though, and so is the plugin. You only need to enable the plugin manually after installation. That’s it.
