How to clear all Cells values and ItemSpaces in a Model

Currently, no method is available for clearing all values in a Model. The method will be introduced in the next release, but for now, the following function will do.

def clear_all(model):
    for space in model.spaces.values():
        space.clear_all()  # to delete all ItemSpaces if any
        for cells in space.cells.values():
            cells.clear()   # or cells.clear_all() to clear input values together
        clear_all(space)

To save the function with the model, define the function in a file (e.g. C:\path\to\temp.py) then create a module in the model.

>>> model.new_module("Util", "Util.py", r"C:\path\to\temp.py")

Then the function is saved in the model by write and zip. When you read the model back, the function can be called like this.

>>> model.Util.clear_all(model)
