It seems this project is abandoned, otherwise Django 1.11 should have been supported by now.
Don't get me wrong - thanks for all the hard work! But it would be appreciated if someone could officially say something about its current status.

There is working Django 1.11 support on the django-1.10 branch, which will be released soon. Frankly though, this project is hard to use unless you are prepared to read the source and develop on it.
