I am trying the simplest of a scripts and it's not working

Hi everyone,

I am using Sentry from the beginning. For many many years now. But mostly browser integrations. Now I am trying to setup Sentry for my nodejs script which I want to run from the terminal.

I put together the example from the docs:

Sentry.init({
  dsn: 'https://DSN',
  tracesSampleRate: 1.0,
});

const { createServer } = require('node:http');

const server = createServer((req, res) => {
  try {
    foo();
  } catch (e) {

    const a = Sentry.captureException(e);
    console.log(a);
    Sentry.captureMessage('Something went wrong');
    console.log(Sentry.isInitialized());
    process.exit();
  }
});

server.listen(3000, '127.0.0.1');

The output from console.log(a); is hash, so it should be working. And console.log(Sentry.isInitialized()); is true...

But I don't see any issues in the Sentry UI :D

Am I doing something wrong? Of course I started with version without server, same output, no issues in Sentry.

@kmaraz if you add debug: true your Sentry.init call you'll see debug logs. What does that show?

OMG: our subscription had depleted quota... 🤦

@AbhiPrasad sometimes it returned 429... and now I cheked our email and i see that we depleted the quota. thank you for your help
