To close this issue, it should later be split into separate ones, each tracking the progress of each new issue.

Policies we should try to adapt:

Helmholtz-wide policy (Handreichung new version)? Probably via @schlauch.
FZJ Software-Leitlinie? Probably via @poikilotherm.
DLR Software Engineering Guidelines? Probably via @schlauch, @led02, @sdruskat.
