The authentication and Authorization will be handled by the Login credentials entered. The login will identify the person, the role he plays within the system and grant privileges.
Have a full range of privileges so that every function can be selectively assigned to the role or the user.
Users can log in to one or more of the selected departments
Depending on the logged departments, the set of privileges will vary.
Admin can set the roles, assign departments, assign privileges
Can create any number of roles.
During the login, the department needs to be selected, so that the privileges are limited to the logged department.
Every action needed to be logged for auditing purposes.
