HOW TO: Export Private Keys from **OLD** ion QT

  1. Copy the address you wish to export by navigating to the receive tab, highlighting the address, right-clicking, and selecting "copy address"

  2. Next, from the menus select Help, and then "Debug Window"

  3. In the debug window, select the console tabe and enter the following command followed with the address you wish to export (paste the private key we copied in the previous step)

  4. Hit the enter key, the wallet will output your address' private key

Back up your private key in a secure location, it is THE key to all of the coins in that address even if your .dat has a password.
