When I create a hyperlink in markdown, if I do not leave a trailing / it will not keep the sub path when in the sub folder.

index.md
* [lesson1](1-lesson1/)
then inside the path /lesson1 I can reference local files
/lesson1
[Exercises](/exercises)
At some point I should be able to just to include the name of the path without the slash and it should remember the path.
