In case of using a 3d printed box to hold the actual contents we need to provide the following:

the actual design files for the 3d printer (in their native format)
list of filling materials which may be appropriate
list/instructions of what 3d printers are compatible with the provided files, etc.
instructions how to use the provided files so that in the end a user can be able to feed them into a 3d printer and receive a plastic box at the other end.
