I hope all is well with you.
I attempted to purchase your base edition (English) after registering on your website but encountered some issues. To purchase your recently published Baseline edition, I tried to register as a member on this webpage (https://www.official-store.as.screen.co.jp/ssl/?ssltype=ssl_shop_member_entry) as instructed (https://www.official-store.as.screen.co.jp/view/page/purchasing-guide)

However, the registration page keeps complaining saying "Please be sure to enter your password using half-width numbers and half-width letters." (Using google translator,I translated the error message provided originally in Japanese). I added a Japanese keyboard and tried "half-width characteristics" but there are two issues:

1. The password field does not allow me to switch to the Japanese keyboard or enter any English alphabet. The keyboard is automatically set to English only, and when I click the registration button, I keep receiving the error message: "Please be sure to enter your password using half-width numbers and half-width letters."

2. the other required fields as shown in the attached file also ask me to use half-width characteristics but when I selected half-with keyboard, I cannot enter any numbers.

Could you please help me with this issue? or is there any other registration page for English version users?
Without registration, it seems I cannot proceed my purchase.

We are sorry that our site is not easy to use.

First, it seems that you are using a Mac to purchase Windows version of KH Coder. Are you sure is that OK?

Second,

"Please be sure to enter your password using half-width numbers and half-width letters."

I think this messages means that please use BOTH English alphabets and numbers in your password. Would you try password containing BOTH English letters and numbers? Also, I think it should not contain anything other than English alphabets and numbers.

half-width

"half-width" in this context means normal English alphabets and numbers. So, just "U.S." alphabets and numbers will do.

Thank you very much for your quick response. Yes, I am using a Mac and trying to purchase the Windows version of the KH Coder. Is there a Mac Version? I have already purchased a KH coder from this page (https://khcoder.net/en/mac_com.html) but it does not behave for me. It keeps giving me an error shown below whenever I try to launch a new project and never lets me proceed to the next step. I believe I am quite familiar with KH Coder 3 because I've been using KH-Coder quite for a while. If the Web version that I purchased already from this webpage ((https://khcoder.net/en/mac_com.html), could you please share some insights as to why it does not work for me?   As for the password, yes. I tried normal English alphabets and numbers, mixing them together. But did not work for me. The website kept returning the error that I posted in the discussion board. Thank you for your help.

About registration issue, I am inquiring with SCREEN Advanced System Solutions Co., Ltd. who sells the installer of KH Coder. It may take some time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

About the Mac version, I would like to see the error message. Would you please post the screenshot at this page? With the e-mail post, we can't attach image files. (It's because odd GitHub Discussions specification)

Ummm, they say the error only appears when your password does not have both alphabets and numbers. But I think they only tested it on Windows.

Can you try it with Chrome on Windows?

Also, please write the password in a text editor like notepad, making sure it is a mixture of numbers and letters, and paste it into the password field.

Thank you so much for looking into the issue. Unfortunately, I have already tried Chrome and Firefox on Mac but did not work for me. I am giving up on purchasing the KHCoder baseline for the Windows computer, but could you look into further on the Mac version for me? I have uploaded the error message on the discussion board. I will hopefully be able to use this Mac version at least since I have already purchased it. Thanks again for your help

Would you try the following procedure on your Mac?

0. Shutdown KH Coder if it's running
1. Move "khcoder3" folder to "Application"
2. Double click "kh_coder" in the "khcoder3" folder in the "Application" to start KH Coder
3. Try creating a new project

If this will not work, please copy & paste all output on the Terminal window here.

FYI, here I attach my application folder. The only difference I found between my application folder and what instructed on this page (https://khcoder.net/en/mac_com.html) is that I do not have exe file. Could it be the matter?

0. Shutdown KH Coder if it's running
1. with Finder, open "khcoder3" in the "Application"
2. open "config" folder in the "khcoder3"
3. delete "coder.ini" in the "config" folder
4. download this coder.zip, copy it (coder.ini) to the "config" folder
5. Double click "kh_coder" in the "khcoder3" folder to start KH Coder
6. Try creating a new project

If this still won't work, please copy & paste all output on the Terminal window here.

By the way, it tuned out that the password for the Windows version purchase page had the following conditions.

• Use both the English alphabet and numbers.
• Must consist only of English alphabets and numbers.

For this reason, if a symbol such as "%" is included, the error will occur.
