Event Plugin

Not the best place to ask... not really an "Issue" with the code.

Has anyone had any luck with an event plugin?

Thoughts: Admin creates an "Event" and can either invite people to it, or allow anyone in a channel to view the event etc?

Not sure what you mean really? I haven't heard of anything like that.

I remember seeing some IRC bots back in the day, where a user could initiate an "Event" on a particular date, and people could be invited to the event etc, and indicate their attendance.

My team is currently looking for a better system to what we're using right now and if we could get it into slack itself that would be very useful.

ah that would be a very neat plugin, but there's nothing currently like it

you could integrate this with google calendar, and it sounds neat
