I think random access maps could be very useful for people in some situations (e.g. in competitive programming), but since no license is given, it is not known whether it is okay to use this template. Just a theoretical comment, I do not have any specific use in mind at the moment.

Random access maps could be useful in project SUMO (eclipse-sumo/sumo#2712) but for this, the license must be known.

What is the most suitable license for the following

  • Use commercial/personal without modifications but without removing the author email from it
  • Or use commercial/personal and modify it without any restrictions.
The point, I don't may name to get removed from it as long as it will be used with modifications.

I recommend using the MIT license. It is the most popular open source license on Github. The license text includes your name as the copyright holder and it is not permissble to remove this copyright information

Do you have any updates on the licensing situation?

Just added the license.
Sorry for delay in this.
Please let me know if you have any comments if you use it in your projects.
I am ready for any simple modifications requests.
