Can't read characteristic's value

Hi!
First of all, thank you for this awesome code!
Next, when i try to connect my MiBand 3 to your demo, it gives me "GATT operation not permitted" error. I have tested it in my pc and smartphone using Google Chrome, any idea on how to fix this issue?

EDIT: works fine on my smartphone (I just repeated pairing process), but still doesn't work on my pc.
