Hi,

from time to time, the time on my heat pump changes to a greater or lesser extent.
Is there a way to set the time (and date if that's possible) via Home Assistant? Then I could set up a daily automation that does exactly that and keeps the time up to date.

Thanks!

Interesting question - I have to admit, that I did not spend a second yet to check, IF the clock of the Waterkotte is in sync... I actually would have assumed it will use a time-server... But if this is not the case, and IF there are fields/tags to specif HH:MM then this should be not such a big deal... Finding the tags is a different story though...

I am sorry - but I tried to implement this - setting the date & time of the Waterkotte - but I was not able to write successfully the target date to the device (and spend the morning running plenty of times down into the basement in order to manually set the correct time again) - the only thing that I could successfully implemented it o make the time (BIOS) available as sensor data...

Hi,
thanks for looking into it and trying.
The time as a sensor would also be a nice addition. Thereby I could setup an automation to warn me, when the clock is off by a larger amount.

Thanks!
