When you have operations that occur at expiration or at regular intervals, such as paying bills or a salary deposit, MoneyManagerEx for Android allows you to set operations such as Scheduled Transactions.

Scheduled Transactions are used to schedule upcoming transactions. These transactions can be a one-off or regularly occurring ones. On the day when a scheduled transaction is due, Money Manager Ex for Android will notify you at a configurable time of the day. Due transactions can be entered into the register or skipped.

These transactions are available in the Scheduled Transactions section of the app. They can be accessed by selecting Repeating Transaction option from the drawer menu on the left.

To create a new Repeating Transaction click Menu → Add (+). To set the Repeating Transaction must set the data as described:

  • Select in the first DropDown the Account
  • Set the first expire of the transaction
  • Set the frequency of the Repeating Transaction (daily, weekly, monthly, etc ...)
  • Enter the number of times that the operation must be repeated. If you leave the field empty, it means that the operation will be repeated indefinitely.

If you want to edit or delete a Repeating Transaction, you should long-press the Scheduled Transaction desired.

Upon the expiration of one or more Repeating Transactions, the device will display a single notification for all Repeating Transaction expired. Clicking on it will open the interface of Repeating Transaction, and expire operations will be highlighted by a warning. You may decide to enter the transaction with the stated expiration date or ignore it and go to the next expiration date.
