Would it maybe be possible to implement some kind of headless mode into Moonlight, in combination with adding a feature to Sunshine, that it also streams an optional rtmp/rtps video stream you can connect to with any video player, like VLC or MPC.

That way people can chose another video decoder software which does the job better like VLC or MPC, and have a headless Moonlight client running which accepts key, mouse and controller inputs.
