Overview

Create a commit template that conforms to the conventional commits rules.

The Conventional Commits specification is a lightweight convention on top of commit messages. It provides an easy set of rules for creating an explicit commit history.

Task

  • Create a commit template (e.g. .gitmessage)
  • Add the procedure to set .gitmessage as a local git configuration.
