Status Report for the Week ending 6/3

Focused on reflecting on what was accomplished over the course of the class and putting together a pitch deck for the AB presentations. Additionally, an application was submitted for a recent job posting (Element Bars) and a chat was initiated between the business and the applicant. Scoured Craigslist asking job posters to post their job on AthenaHire.

What we got done (Technical)

• Added carousel showing athenamom schools and companies
• Fixed issue live chat widget onto the web page
• Removed profile pictures for business following feedback from user
• Misc UI Fixes

What we got done (Business)

• Put together a draft of the pitch deck for AB board
• Application received and chat initiated between business and applicant for recent job posting (Element Bars)
• Scoured Craigslist asking job posters to post their job on AthenaHire
• Reached out via social media and emails to gather testimonials for our demo
• Continued running Facebook campaign

Biggest Insight

Same as last week, keeping users updated with notifications on project statuses and applications is a useful way to keep users engaged on our platform. Another chat was initiated because the business and applicant was notified on updates regarding the project. Would definitely prioritize implementing notification features earlier on for future projects as they encourage user engagement and can maintain traction.
