As per oasisprotocol/oasis-web3-gateway#429

The web3 gateway didn't fully support custom errors in solidity.

Need to write some unit tests for the upcoming 0.6.3 version & web3-gateway-rc3 which tests:

  • Custom errors
  • Require with message
  • Require without message
  • Panic
  • Anomalous revert errors (not correctly ABI encoded)
