The function calculate_date added in this PR #265
currently works for the date format %Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S.%fZ
However according to the FHIR datetime definition here this can also be YYYY, YYYY-MM, YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss+zz:zz

This issue is to extend the function to work with all the possible formats
