Application not recognizing eid reader

I am trying to use a usb-c-to-usb-a dongle to sign documents using DigiDOC on my phone. When I plug in the card reader, I get a notification that OpenKeychain, another app I have, wants to handle card readers. So the phone is recognizing that a card reader device is plugged in.

However the DigiDOC app is not recognizing the reader when I try to sign a document.

At the moment the digidoc app supports listed readers https://www.id.ee/en/article/useful-information-about-smartcard-readers/#supported-card-readers_2. What reader is being used?
