HOME/END navigation seem to transition all slides

1. Create a deck with 50 slides or so
2. Open the deck and press the END key. Observe that there's a slow transition to the last slide with a screen full of "smudged" content.
3. Press the HOME key. Observe a similar transition going to the first slide.

I assume a similar effect would be seen with intra-slideshow links, say from slide 2 to slide 49.

Could you post an example. I have a lot of more than 50 slides decks and I'm not sure I'm following the problem...
