Question about result output meanings (serovar, serovar antigen, serovar cgmlst) #56

Hello,

I am currently using SISTR to do some serovar predictions for a tool we are building and I was wondering if there is a more in depth explanation of what these 3 final outputs in the JSON file mean. The 3 we are specifically interested in are "serovar", "serovar antigen", and "serovar_cgmlst". We are interested in specifically what each of these final 3 outputs mean (or where they are derived from) and why they can differ?

We noticed a sample (based on known data which should be Typhi) which after analysis comes out as serovar: "I D1:j:-", serovar antigen: "serovar_antigen": "I D1:j:-", and serovar_cgmlst: "serovar_cgmlst": "Typhi". Is there meaning behind these 3 outputs being different that we should be concerned about? Is there one specific result we should be more focused on or is the information in all 3 of these outputs important? We are also wondering if disagreement in these outputs is meaningful in terms of the quality of serovar prediction.

Any clarification or guidance on how to use these outputs would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance,

Dmitry
