SWAPI shows 96 cm:

    "homeworld": "https://swapi.co/api/planets/8/",
    "id": "3",
    "mass": "32",
    "name": "R2-D2",

According to the StarWars-Databank, it's 109cm.

Also, while looking at that record, I wondered: I seem to recall a scene where he co-piloted an aircraft with Luke, so shouldn't that be reflected in his vehicle-entry?

Ha, yeah I guess he did pilot it with Luke. We can change it. Currently I am moving to the other side of the world so I am quite busy.

Appearently is not as obvious as I thought. Discussed it with my wife (who is real SW-enthusiast) and she didn't think he was piloting in that scene.
