cannot uninstall edge nor copilot

Preflight Checklist

• Microsoft Edge is selected in any "How do you want to open this?" box
• I've ran the Cleanup tool and tried another install

ℹ Behavior

ok opened the program as admin set it to switzerland at first but could not uninstall edge so then switched it to germany still couldnt uninstall edge switched it a few more times (this was all with reboots inbetween) nothing below is the only logs it recorded there was nothing recorded in any other log file

yeah i tried it a few times ... I also ran vive tool after the initial 4 tries with just msedgeredirect in an elevated command prompt with switches /enable /id:43699941 and as a separate command with 44353396 then rebooted still no uninstall edge or ms copilot

i also tried running a repair on edge

tried running vivetool again along with setting to germany again and rebooted and still nothing

i set all the location settings to germany under the clock settings and rebooted still nothing

i tossed it on a vpn pointing at germany and redid the vive tool and setting the euro settings and a reboot with the vpn connecting upon login and still nothing

the os was the latest update as of earlier today and there isn't any updates after running the programs nor before the os build number is 22631.3374

i just uninstalled as many updates as i could which got rid of copilot but edge is still there with no uninstall button

i reinstalled the updates and still can't uninstall edge

so any light on the issue would be great because i want to de-ms-ify windoze as much as i can Thank you!

I am having the same issue. Did all his steps, ViVe Tool, machine, default and user region registry tweaks (they were already set when launching the app in order to set to Europe Mode).

I enabled some configs in C:\Windows\System32\IntegratedServicesRegionPolicySet.json such as:

Added "US" to Region just in case there was a leftover US region somewhere.

I am still not getting Widgets to open a link (i.e. Weather) in my default browser, nor any of the EEA features.
Uninstall Edge is still greyed out.

I am on 23H2 build 22631.3593

I'd be glad to provide with any info I could on why setting region to an EEA country seems not to work.
