how to check new email in Gnus #138

Hi,

Recently, I set Gnus up as email client to avoid outlook. It can receive emails. Thanks for your tutorial.

There is one problem, how can I check new emails in Group and Summary buffer. What I did to try

g (gnus-group-get-new-news), after press g then press C - u Enter to Summary buffer, new emails don't show here
added (gnus-demon-add-handler 'gnus-demon-scan-mail 5 t), no new message come in every 5 minutes.

Would you please help on these questions?
