Wallpaper stops displaying correctly after some time #2256

Describe the bug
After leaving my PC for some time, Lively Wallpaper will stop functioning.

Experienced issues:

  1. Wallpaper set to completely white screen
  2. Wallpaper changed to a default mountain view
  3. Wallpaper set to completely black screen (this is my Windows background)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set Fluids wallpaper
  2. Leave PC for some time (typically overnight, sometimes less time)
  3. PC does NOT go to sleep (disabled in windows)
  4. Wake up screen

Expected behavior
Wallpaper remains the same as when I left

n/a; only occurs over time, never immediately

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro, 23H2, 22631.3593, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1003.0
  • Fluids

Wallpaper set to completely white screen

Fluid wallpaper has this bug, there is an updated version:
https://github.com/rocksdanister/WebGL-Fluid-Simulation/releases

Is there a built-in way to update a single wallpaper? or is the best option to delete the currently installed version and install the new version?

There is no built in way at the moment.
